Hello everyone and welcome to the kick off of CONQUEST: Cartagena! We are so excited to have you on board for our ninth season of CONQUEST!
As you may already know from following the series in the past, it's going to be filled with twist and turns to keep you on your toes. This season will be no different and we're starting off with a twist that will impact the cast.
The theme of the season is WHO CAN YOU TRUST? A question that is easy to ask but difficult to answer. This theme will come into play with multiple twists in the season, but it’s too soon to reveal what those will be! What we can reveal is the 16 new players, will not be all who are playing this season. Two returning players will be returning for a second shot at winning CONQUEST.
Trust is a tricky thing. Sometimes someone close to you can betray you at the drop of a hat. Both these players have that in common. Here are this season’s returning players — Holli (C6) and Lizzie (C8)
Will history repeat itself and see them #blindsided once again or can they rewrite their story? Only time will tell.

Now to reveal the first twist of the season. It wouldn't be a season of CONQUEST without a twist!
The season's first twist is...
Original, I know! During the challenge everyone will rank the members of the opposing tribe. After the challenge the two highest ranked members will both be exiled. Yes, that means someone each round from the losing tribe will avoid Tribal Council.
During this time these two players will only be able to communicate with each other. They will not be allowed to communicate with their tribe.
While at Exile the duo that is sent will face a PRISONER'S DILEMMA. This is where the theme of the season will once again come into play.
Each player will only be allowed to be exiled once.
More information on this will be revealed at Exile to the duo that is sent there.
