We're going big this season kicking it off with an endurance challenge.
This challenge will take place over Google Hangout. A DVD/CD is required to compete in this challenge.
As a tribe you will all be standing up, legs apart, with your arms straight above your head holding a DVD/CD with your fingertips. The goal is to stay standing as long as possible in that position without dropping the disc.
Now I'm sure you're all wondering why you have to break up into trios. Well this comes into play with how the scoring of this challenge will work.
Here is an example of how the scoring will happen, let's take teams from two shows I've most recently watched -- Riverdale vs Stranger Things.
You each will be benchmarked against the person on the opposing trio who drops at the same point. So for example, we have Archie and Jonathan who both drop first.
Archie lasted longer in this case so he scores 1 point of Team RIverdale.
For the second person to drop in each trio, Nancy outlasted Veronica therefore she gained a point for Team Stranger Things, making it come down to who lasted the longest between Cheryl and Steve.
Cheryl comes through outlasting Steve and wins the round for Team Riverdale.
The goal for your tribe is to win 2 out of 3 rounds.
Now that you know how the challenge works you have until 6pm EST today to lock in your trios and to decide a time to compete either tonight or tomorrow night. Each trio will compete independently. You will not compete at the same time as the opposing tribe, therefore results will remain a mystery.
If you have any questions please let us know.
